What it’s all about:
Real Development for our Communities

The Carpenters Union works to uphold standards of worker welfare and craft quality in the northern California construction industry. The industry and the economy at large suffer when irresponsible employers like Daniel Silverie III, Inc. compromise these standards. Union Carpenters also believe that if partners of Daniel Silverie, Inc. are hurt by that company’s poor performance or irresponsible behavior, then responsible enterprises and people – including construction workers – are at risk of being made worse off. Finally, union Carpenters, as taxpayers and community residents, want public resources to be invested in ways that contribute the most to the general welfare of our communities. These concerns motivate us to publish the content found on the “Eye on Silverie” web site.

The contents of this site either are opinions based on the Carpenters Union’s experience in the construction industry or are based on information we believe to be true. Daniel Silverie III, Inc. is a privately held company and has few obligations to disclose facts about itself or its operations to the public. The Carpenters Union makes no claim that the base of experience and information underlying statements on this website is complete. Those considering doing business with Daniel Silverie III, Inc. ought to consult with certified engineers, lawyers, accountants, and other qualified persons. The Carpenters Union urges partners in construction to respect the vital interests of working families and industry standards when they conduct their business.
